The Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible
for providing expert level knowledge and advice on a
particular subject area. The SME will act as a
resource to others within the organization, sharing
their expertise and knowledge to help solve problems
and improve processes. The SME will be required to
maintain a high level of understanding in their area
of expertise, keeping up to date with latest
developments and trends. They will also need to be
able to communicate complex information clearly and
concisely to those who may not have the same level
of knowledge.
